I notice it recording in the background just now a show that is a duplicate of a show I recorded. That's fine if I missed a setting and it records all of that show, but at least show me that show in the "view scheduled" section. I also noticed it with another show. Anyone else have this problem? I know I can record the first run only but still it misses shows of a series if I only choose "first run".

I am having a perhaps related issue.  We go to set up series to record using the "add recording" and "search" function, but only the next show up is actually recording.  Series record settings are "new" and the option to set recording only on a specific channel.

We are having to limit the channel because even set to "new," it still wants to record reruns showing in syndication on other channels.

This is with the TV Pack, by the way.
