Here is what I did. I chose to record Chuck (7pm-8pm) and
Heroes (8pm-9pm) tonight on 12.1 on my OTA HDTV. I did this from the guide and
did NOT use record series.
6pm - My computer was on at and stayed on, no interruption of
power or anything. WMC was closed.
7pm -it started to record chuck, no problems.
7:05pm -I logged in to make sure it was recording. All was well.
7:30 - I started to watch chuck, every now and then pausing
then playing doing some rewinding and fast wording, I never left media center and nothing else besides
was running or going on.
~8:50 – I check recorded TV for Heroes, its not there, so I
go to view schedule, Heros is there, and so I click
that, it doesn’t seem to have started and then it shows up in my recorded tv, so I click on that, and it looks like it started
recording only after I went to view schedule and clicked on it.
There are no errors and I got about the last 10 minutes of
Heroes recorded but am baffled as to why it didn’t start recording at 8pm.
I have the default 2 minutes before and 3 minutes after padding
and in the event log You can see that chucked stopped
right at 8pm, presumably to start recording chuck.
