Show listings are incorrect: bad episode information. This causes series that are set to record only new episodes to record every episode of many shows since they are missing this info. For instance, my daughters shows such as Dora the Explorer, Diego and just about every other little kid show she would watch on 24-Nik. Also, one show in particular needs episode info to improve the WAF. My wife appreciates being able to read the little bit of episode details on The Young and the Restless. So much so that she actually checks it on the weekend when the next weeks data comes in, but it hasn't worked for over a week now. After reinstalling very orderly to see if it was a problem I could get rid of myself, the data start date is the 13th, but it was just setup on the 17th. Clearly this seems odd to me. I would have expected a start date around the 17th and data through the end of the month or even into December.

The guide has the generic listing of "A 7-year-old Latina girl explores the world around her." Normally there would be episode specific info on at least the episodes this week. Also, the msn.tv listing doesn't even have Dora listed at this time, and this follows the behavior I have been getting, which is shows that recorded but were something else entirely.

Okay, problems are back, but I'm not sure that its just me. I have three different computers. Two running TV Pack and one clean Vista SP1 machine (non-TV Pack). None of them have Guide data going out past Jan 8th 2009.

Unable to download guide data past the Jan 8th. Also channel 59 is listed as RFDTV, but it has recently been changed to the Big Ten Network here in Ames. I think zap2it still has the old lineup for this channel.

Show listings are incorrect: bad episode information. This causes series that are set to record only new episodes to record every episode of many shows since they are missing this info. For instance, Jon & Kate Plus 8 was missing the episode specific info, and I got a huge barrage of old episodes recorded yesterday since it was set to record every new episode.  Also, one show in particular needs episode info to improve the WAF. My wife appreciates being able to read the little bit of episode details on The Young and the Restless. So much so that she actually checks it on the weekend when the next weeks data comes in, but it hasn't worked this week.  Also, the data start date is the 18th of November, but it is now the 31st od December. Clearly this seems odd to me.

Also, I have already installed KB957209 and reran the TV setup after that just to try and fix it on my own. Do you have any idea Chris?

Re: Guide data for Mediacom@50014 odd start date and missing episodic data, etc.

    Repost from another thread:

Okay, I looked and I now have info through 1/12/09 also. I still have the start date of 11/18/08, but I'm ot sure that is even wrong. Perhaps that is how its supposed to be. Anyway, I now have episode specific data through at least the next 1/2 week or longer in some cases. I am just wondering if this kind of problem is going to be a regular occurence. It has happened at least twice now in the last month. The last time I didn't do anything and it resolved itself. This time I posted on TGB, but also didn't really do anything that seemed to fix it. I redid the TV setup twice. I also manually told it to update about 5 times. Nothing I did seemed to help at all. It just started working again last night. I am just curious, was there a problem found and fixed?

Lastly, there is still a channel lineup problem with channel 59. It is listed as RFDTV, but it has recently been changed by Mediacom to the Big Ten Network.
